Two Play Strings caters specifically for the wedding and function industries in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. As the vineyards are on our doorstep, we are fully conversant with the magical atmosphere created by a wedding amongst the vines and the intimacy of a country chapel.
Weddings
Through our music, we can add that “something special” to your perfect day. Our wide range of music includes pieces such as Pachelbel’s Canon and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Our music will help create and enhance emotions like:
- a relaxed, friendly and settling atmosphere as your guests arrive;
- suspense as they wait for a glimpse of the bride;
- wonder (and perhaps a tear) as she walks down “the aisle”
- and joy as the bride and groom “tie the knot” to rapturous applause from family and friends.
Pre-Dinner Drinks
To further enhance the day we can also play during pre-dinner drinks, whilst the bride and groom are being photographed and/or for the reception.
Functions
We can provide background music as your guests arrive, are being served drinks and canapés and / or for the mains. We will happily work with your function coordinator to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible.
Qualifications & Experience
You can be sure of our high standards, we are both tertiary qualified musicians and have a wealth of playing and performance experience in this industry: string quartet; trio; duo and orchestra.
